Founded in the spring of 1997 in the shadow of Bell Labs New Jersey, Team ACX has a long history of creating UI (User Interfaces) and application solutions for Industrial control, robotics, building management, data acquisition systems and specialized CNC production lines in the demanding commercial industry. At Team ACX we know the value as well as significance of “knowing” every aspect of the component and equipment that is to be controlled. In the industrial world there is no “second chance” to get it right - it must work every time, all the time, right on time without exception.

It is this pursuit of excellence that Team ACX brings to the home control-entertainment network with the advent of the Alexis and DMX lines of RCIS (Remote Control Intranet Servers).

Fusing industrial services and solutions with consumer products was made effortless after the A/V integrators joined the team in 1999. The 'systems integration' team has  25+ years of experience in the A/V and residential control arena. Having won system of the year several times from several manufacturers as installer/integrators they were more than qualified to address the requirements of contributing to the creation of a  platform from the “Integrator/Installer's” as well as the “end user's” perspectives.

Chemistry and synergy are a rarity in any company. But when the two engineering teams from two very different worlds got together there was an explosion of ideas that surged beyond anyone's expectations. Incorporating the experiences of the integration team with the savvy and know how of the industrial control team has yielded products so unique that they defy conventional wisdom and practice. They have redefined the term “outside of the box”.
