Not all components are created equal:

Team ACX does not embrace all A/V components or integration equipment. Our high standards are only exceeded by our strict adherence to this formula. Before we endorse any component and release a POI (Point Of Interface application) for the device it must first undergo many rigorous tests that most products cannot and have not endured. To even be considered for POI application development, each component must possess three attributes that cannot be overlooked, imitated or substituted. The first is bi-directional communication (Serial, Ethernet etc). Second, it must have consistent reliable behavior in regard to all aspects of its communication and performance. And last but not least, it must be of high quality construction. Only after a component or devcie has passed all tests and has been successfully integrated by Team ACX will it receive our seal of excellence. Only the best can become elite.

Unlike our counterparts and competition, we do not hyperbolize that we control “everything”. In simple terms, not everything is worth controlling and simply because one can, does not necessarily mean one should especially in the context of QPR. We have rejected many components from many manufacturers over the years simply because their products could not meet our high standards of performance, reliability and most importantly quality.
