Team ACX Packages - A Family of Elite Products and Software:

Team ACX System Packages: As explained in our “mission” statement, not all components are created equal. All devices and components must go through our rigorous testing procedures at the Team ACX computer lab before we give them our seal of approval. And before they can earn the coveted Team ACX Certification they must be fully tested and approved by our Alpha-Beta participants.

You are assured that all products appearing in an Team ACX package have met or exceeded our expectations and have successfully made it through our Alpha-Beta R&D Program - QPR.

Another unique aspect of a Team ACX package is not merely the POI software suites and the equipment they control or even the ease of installation, but rather the relationships that Team ACX has forged with the manufacturers of these exemplary products. Even if you are not an authorized dealer for the components and devices listed in our packages you are always assured that they will be available through your authorized Team ACX Representative or Distributor for all of your Team ACX multi-room audio projects. These packages, or “family” of products have been selected not only for their attributes, but also for their performance in real world installations.

ALX-G1 Packages:

The ©ALX-G1 is a self contained, self configuring, self maintaining Remote Control Intranet Server (RCIS). The ©ALX-G1 is designed specifically to provide connect and play command and control of select components for multi-room audio systems. It is equipped with 9 RS232 serial ports for direct connectivity with audio components that are furnished with a (bi-directional) RS232 serial port.

The convenience and ease of use of the ©ALX-G1 server is only surpassed by its intuitive ergonomics and realistic, engaging GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces). We have assembled the most common ALX-G1 packages based on systems which have been fully tested and vetted through our exclusive Alpha-Beta R&D program. Team ACX systems are not limited to the listed packages and may be customized to fit your project and clients' budgets. In other words just think of them as ready made templates that make the design and sales aspect of your multi-room audio projects that much easier.

A system may be comprised of any combination or variation of certified components. For instance, one of our Alpha Beta clients wanted 6 XM-FM-AM Tuners from Marantz - so that is what we placed at the site along with an ADA Suite 8100 for audio distribution. This left us 2 available serial ports (6 + 1 = 7 ..... 9 - 7 = 2) which we then installed a Marantz IS-201 iPod Integration Dock and an iPort Inwall iPod Docking Cradle. As shown, the ALX-G1 system is very flexible. You will have the ability to address and satisfy the most demanding of clients while providing them with the most advanced remote control system in our industry.

The ALEXIS ALX-G1 is equipped with a POI Manifest PDF generator. This PDF file contains the latest Certified POI software and a description of the manufacturer / component it is designed to control. Special Note: As we continue to work with manufacturers and the testing of their new products we will add them to the ALX-G1 Certified POI List only after they have successfully traversed our QPR and Alpha-Beta programs. Adding a new Certified POI to your older ALX-G1 installations is accomplished via the USB port on your ALX-G1 - just insert the USB flash drive with the POI Package file on board and let your ALEXIS ALX-G1 auto load the new POI - thats all there is to it - no programming, graphics creation or even a data base declaration - true automation even at the administration level! If you are updating an older ALX-G1 project and wish to add a new POI to its manifest contact tech support for the newest version of the POI at info@acxlan.com - Be sure to include the Serial ID Number and MAC Address values for the ALX-G1 you wish to update in your email - a self installing ".acx" POI Package file will be forwarded so you may install the new POI Package on the target ALX-G1.
